I am a hug loving inspirational speaker and transformational travel advocate who has lived, worked and explored in over 70 countries. I truly believe in living life to its fullest and creating unforgettable moments.

 

Although I have ended up in some weird and wonderful places and learnt from many great experiences over the years, I am best known for one particularly epic adventure where I became part of the first all-female team to row, unsupported, across the Pacific Ocean and in doing so became 1 in only 7 people in the world to ever row this section of the Ocean.

 

In 2016 my amazing team and I (the Coxless Crew), completed the 9,000-mile journey from San Francisco, USA to Cairns, Australia, in a 29-foot pink rowing boat named Doris. Our journey took nine months, setting two world records gaining an international following. We had a documentary produced about our journey called ‘Losing Sight of Shore’.

 

I am passionate about sharing my experience and insights of the mental, physical, practical and emotional challenges of the journey to inspire others to take on their own challenges and adventures. I focus on themes like connection, collaboration, resilience, mindfulness, and welcoming the unknown. Through my speaking engagements and workshops, I hope to inspire and encourage individuals and teams to embrace uncertainty, step out of their comfort zones, and live more adventurously……and now I’ve decided I wants to invite curious, like-minded, beautiful souls to share some random adventures with me!

 

It’s not about climbing mountains or rowing oceans (unless that’s your thing!) – it’s about making small, intentional choices that lead to big transformations, richer conversations, deeper connections and more meaningful moments. It’s about learning to understand ourselves, enjoying the journey and ultimately...it’s all about the adventure!
